Breaking away from a highly toxic relationship in Aug. 2022 I realized that my traumatic experiences from both the last 22 years and from my childhood, is the perfect foundation for becoming a psychotherapist.
Also, due to the fact I have worked in law enforcement and thus have gained the necessary experience in what trauma and PTSD with 1st responders means and looks like, I decided to start a study in psychology this year (2023).
I want to focus my study and future occupation on 1st responders experiencing the lesser feelings, thoughts and dreams after witnessing a traumatic event. But with a special touch. That is why I am strongly thinking of attaching a 2 year study of the 'Rote Nase' (Clinic Clowns) behind it. This is because I strongly believe that laughter is one of the best therapies for discussing trauma in a safe environment and overcoming it.
